Our Campaigns

Breathe Bengaluru Campaign
This campaign is about greening Bengaluru city. It aims at planting over 10 lakh saplings across Bengaluru. Through this program, we will be collaborating with various government departments and taking up Miyawaki, Dense, and Gap Plantations. Also, several types of theme based plantations, such as herbal, medicinal, and butterfly gardens, will be taken up. The central focus of this campaign is to increase green cover in the city, which will help in the conservation of biodiversity and create lung spaces for people.

Million Drops
These are typical watershed projects such as conservation and restoration of water bodies which includes lakes, tanks and kalyanis. Under this campaign, rejuvenation will be planned from ridge to valley approach, like in a watershed, restoration of lakes and its catchments, ponds, gokattes, construction of percolation wells, checkdams, restoration of kalyanis and open well etc.

Solitude
This campaign will primarily focus on soil conservation, supporting regenerative agricultural practices that sustain soil and its eco-system. It involves water demand management, seed conservation, farm yield and income enhancement, food / nutrition security, agro livelihood, and plantation. Hence, it is an integrated intervention centred around soil.

Sapiens for Change
Sapiens for Change tackles environmental threats through small, impactful projects. It prioritizes endangered ecosystems, focusing on areas near collapse but with restoration potential. These projects, planned in rural, peri-urban, and urban areas, aim for biodiversity preservation. Citizens and corporations can propose projects like protecting “Gundutopus” (bat homes) or preserving native trees. The program even welcomes research and initiatives like “Insect Cafes” for pollinators.

Grama Shilpi
This campaign focuses on impacting rural life. Through this program, we will work with the Gram Panchayat to identify panchayat-level issues in terms of education, health, and livelihood and provide solutions for holistic rural development. Through one of the programs, we plan to support the rural youth to climb coconut trees with appropriate training and machinery support. There is a good demand for trained climbers, and getting trained people from their own villages will be more advantageous for farmers and climbers.

Insect Cafe
Massive urbanisation and commercial agriculture have threatened the existence of many kinds of bees. The situation is so dire that they can hardly find safe habitation and nesting places such as permeable soil, wood, etc. Their decline is likely to threaten the process of pollination and subsequently affect the food-chain. Excessive use of pesticides, insecticides, germicides, fungicides and weedicides are wreaking havoc on the insect population.

Disaster Response
When nature strikes, leaving communities devastated, we stands as a ray of hope. we’re the force for change. Our mission is to provide essential aid and support to those impacted by natural calamities, ensuring no one is left behind. From delivering emergency food supplies and clean water to providing medical assistance and temporary shelter, we’re committed to help communities rebuild their lives. With every action, we try to make a difference in the lives of those affected.
